This set after all the shinigami in the series are dead, and a new group of hinigmai have been taking care of soul society for the last few hundred years, now rumors are spreading of the return of a new espada and one of the captains may be working alongside them and telling them of the plans of the shinigmai.
One group of the Espada has returned known as the espada and they dont seem to be as as the last group who worked for Aizen. The second group the Espada ressereccion, are a group of arrancar who have began to get sick and tired of waiting for the espada to attck soul society and have thus created the second espada. Now all three factions may enter into a battle.
