Eli sat at her desk in the 3rd divison's barracks doing the bane of vice captains existence...paper work. Granted that Yayoi helped with some of the burden but she would be much of a fukutaicho if she let the 4th seat do all her work. Come on who liked someone who put off all there work onto other people. Eli let out a sigh.
You seemed exhausted. Why don't you quit for tonight, it will keep till tomorrow. she herd Harue, her zanpakto, comment.
"I can't Supreme Commander Yamamato wants this tomorrow." Eli replied sighing as she signed another piece of paper. I swear if I have to look at another piece of paper after this... the fukutaicho thought.
I herd that. Came the smart reply of her zanpakto.
"Oh, shut it. If you don't leave me a lone I'll never finish this." the exclaimed tiredly. If only there was a faster way to get this done....

Harugin sat utop the roof of the 3rd squads main barracks. He had a chocolate bar with him as he usually always did. It was often that Harugin visited the 3rd squad barracks. After all, he knew just about everybody in the 3rd squad. Best friends with the captain and the only captain he trusted, sister to the fourth seat, and the soul reaper responsible for bringing in the Lieutenant in the first place.
"Nice day if nothing else."
He said with his usual fanged grin as he took another bite of his sectioned chocolate bar. It was well known that Harugin had a taste for sweets. Despite his unhealthy diet, Harugin himself stayed in almost perfect condition. Stating that Ceopiora and regular excersice where the reasons for his fitness.
"All that chocolate will be the death of you."
Trickmaster said as he hovered above Harugin. Trickmaster or Kiboutatsujin, was the spirit of Harugin's Zanpakuto. Only Haru could actually see or hear him however. He smiled at his spirit with that same fanged smile and hopped down from the ledge. A few guards saw the Captain and bowed to him.
"Morning Captain Harugin."
"I've sait it before, it's captain Grim guys."
He said with a fanged smile as he waved and walked into the barracks. He came into Eli's room, looking at the pile of paperwork she had to do. Urian handled all of Haru's paperwork since he pretty much refused too do it. He already found captains meetings to be boring enough as it is. He walked over to Eli, putting hand on her back and bending down so his head was by hers.
"To much paperwork will make the day dull."

"oh, Taicho." Eli said looking at the man beside her.
oh, look who came to see my little Eli today. Harue teased as she laughed loudly.
Shut up. Eli hissed at her mentally sending her an evil aura.
Hmph. Came Harue's response as Eli felt her zanpakuto become retreat to the back of her mind.
Elie sighed. "True, to much paper work is horrible. However, if I hadn't pushed it all off till now I wouldn't be here now." Eli stated as she signed another piece of paper.
"So what brings you here taicho?" she asked quizzically looking at the 2nd division's captain.

Harugin took a moment to look around the room he was in. Like most of the offices in soul society, there wasn't much to it. Harugin's room was vastly diffrent. Full of various odds and ends he picked up during his trips to the real world. He had various guitars lying around, although his thunder love is his favorite. He has various movie posters around that he likes, as well as various locks and custom made swords hanging from the walls. He also had various sources of information strawn around, including cards showing various captains and high ranking soul reapers in soul society, and thier abilites.
"Captain? Way to formal Savvy? Call me Mellow."
He said in a cheerful voice with his usual fanged smile. He hated it when others insisted on calling him by formal names. In that way, he was similar to Yoruichi. Trickmaster hovered just above and behind Harugin as he always did, a grin on his face. For the moment however, he was content to just sit back and watch the proceedings, not finding the talk to be all that interesting.
"Me? Bored so just hanging around the barracks."
He said in a disinterested voice as he took a look at the paperwork she was signing. None of that looked all that interesting either. He patted her on the back, grinning at her with his smile. His hood was still on so his eyes were partly obscured.
"Let's go have some fun savvy?"

Eli stared at Harugin blankly for few moments.
"I'm not going to call you Mellow." She simply commented as she signed another paper. "I'll call you Grim or Harugin but never Mellow."
Eli looked down at the vast amount of paper work on her desk. There was no way that she was going to finish it by tomorrow. Matsuki is so going to kill me but...
"Fine Harugin. Lets go do something interesting." Well, at least I'll go out with a bang. Eli thought looking a the unfinished paper work as she got out of her seat.

Arual, the 3rd seat, slid the door to the barracks open and slipped in. Pulling the earbuds out of his ears and switched his mp3 off, 'Ah, the vanities of the human world...Frivolous in the eyes of others, but I don't mind 'em'
"What's up Nyeli Eli?" He said, giving the Vice Captain another nickname. Arual always gave people new nicknames about every week, uninterested in formalities amongst those he knew amongs his squad.

Harugin gave a fanged smile as Eli decided to go with him. He was bored out of his mind, although he would be more bored if he was doing the paperwork that he was supposed to do. Good thing he had a lieutenant to handle all that. The only thing he did was sign papers that required a captains signiture.
"Hey, Gotta call me Mellow, Captains orders savvy?"
He said with a wide grin on his face. He took another bite of his chocolate bar as he turned to see the 3rd seat. Harugin's face changed as Arual entered the room. Shadow obscured his eyes and his normal fanged smile left his face in place of a stoic look.
"Oh... It's the other witness to Aisu's treachery."
Trickmaster said, hovering just above Arual. Of course, only Harugin could see or hear him. Harugin looked at Arual as he gave Eli a nickname of sort.
"Well well... Shouldn't you be bowing and addressing a superior officer about now?"
Harugin said with mock importance.

Suki hiccuped as she headed down what looked to her like a grass ridden pole. She had been out drinking again and this time she was drunk enough for he mind to start changing the appearance of things. With a soft giggle she hopped from one foot too the other as she wobbled dangerously almost falling over at one point. "Oh....poo..." She murmured when she finally did fall over. Her robes were all in disarray and her hair was a tangled mess. The 3rd squad captain let out a sigh as she stared up at the sky and waited for someone to find her. She didn't have the energy to get to her feet. After a few moments she drifted off into a quiet sleep. |

Eli face took on annoyed look at the 3rd seat's nickname for her. Did he have to create a new on every week?
"Arual, how many times do I have to tell you it's just Eli. Not one of your nicknames that you create." she said and she let out an exasperated sigh. It's kind of pointless to try and stop him though...
Heheh. Is little Eli being bothered again? mocked her zanpakuto, Harue, as she made her presence known again.
"Great. Now I have to deal with her," muttered Eli under her breath hoping no one noticed. Eli then turned attention back to Harugin.
"And why would I call you Mellow even if it is an order? That's so not going to happen."

Arual gave Harugin a very exaggerated, joking bow, "'Oh, my royal master, I'm ever so sorry, but-but-but-!' Hehe, like that" He gave a laugh.
He decided to power up his mp3 again. Flipping through songs, he could hear Shiruba-Tenshi {Silver Angel}'s voice in his mind "You and your Devil's Music...How can you stand such sounds?"
"Check this out, Eli." He said, walking over to her. Handing her the ear buds, he adjusted the volume a little lower as the words 'The Final-Dir En Grey' scrolled in bright neon blue across the screen.
OOC: Yea, weird post, but I couldn't think of much else. And, yea, Lexi, I "borrowed" your bolding idea for this post since I used itallics and it got confuzzling//

Eli had no idea how to act as Arual handed her ear buds. For a moment she looked down at the buds then to Arusal and then back the ear buds. Eli then placed them in her ears and listened to the music.
"Interesting....but in a good way." She commented as the song ended. It's actually pretty good but not my thing. she decided in her mind.
"Well shall we get going? I want to go to the real world and check out some music." Eli stated waiting for the other two people response.

Arual nodded, a bit surprised the vice captain would make such a request. He glanced at Harugin, doubting whether or not he'd want to go. He placed the buds back into his ears, flipping through songs.

Harugin continued to stare at Arual in silence. He was a witness to the Primeras treachery, and a witness to the 10th squad captains treachery. Harugin didn't trust anyone in the Serietei but chief captain Yamamoto and Matsuki. Of course, no one was aware of this as he was a perfect liar and master minipulater. He looked at Arual who had an Ipod of some sort with him. Harugin had seen those before, after all, he took a lot of trips to the real world for his candy and other supplies.
"Good boy. I see you have an ipod, what's on it?"
He said, his fanged smile returning as he took the headphones. Not that someone like Harugin would ask someone to see them. He put them in his ears, listening to the music. It was actually pretty good. Harugin returned the headphones to Arual when he felt Matsuki's spiritual pressure leaking out with no control, meaning she was drunk again.
"Okay... The real world it is, but first, we get her royal pain off the ground and sober."
He said with a sneer as Trickmaster laughed.

Eli sighed in exasperation. If only taicho would tell when she went drinking then I could go with her and make she was all right. she thought
"Let's go find Taicho so I can yell at her for not telling me." She said raising her voice a bit at her irritation. Why, couldn't I get a normal taicho. Then again I'm probably just annoyed that i didn't notice it earlier.
Ahhh, is Eli going to get upset worrying about her taicho? mused Harue laughing lightly.
Damn, you can be annoying. Go away. Eli spat at her giving her a 'get lost now' look.

Nodding, Arual slid the door open and held it for the others, "After you," He said in mock-sincerity.
'So, she went drinkin' again?' Shiruba-Tenshi mused.
'Apparently so. She seems to be a sake fiend.' He said to Shiruba-Tenshi mentally.
