It was a nice and sunny day. Then within a few minutes the sky was darkened by hundreds of clouds, rain and hell pored down onto the city. It cleared out most of the citizens forcing them to run to shelter . Ekai sat on top of the highest building looking down on the fleeing citizens the same as he used to. Looking down it brought him memories of his spirit years the years of peace and relaxation. Yet over those years so many things have changed. He was no longer a mere spirit messing with children but a powerful Vaizard able to control rain. Ekai slowly leaned back and looked at the sky. How is it that after so long and so many changes I'm still bored sitting on top of this building talking to my sword. Maybe I can attract some entertainment. He released his spiritual pressure and it spread throughout most of the city. He hoped that maybe it would draw out some hallows or maybe a random shinigami. Entail then he would just have to be contempt with flooding the city.

((I am sooooo sorry it took me soooooo long!))
This park is almost as pretty as my Inner World...maybe the World of the Living isn't so bad after all...
Kohana Suzuki thought as she sat up in the highest tree she could find in the small park in Karakura Town. The Head Captain had sent her out to watch for Hollows and Arrancars, one of her least favorite Captain's Duties. It wasn't all bad though, being in the World of the Living allowed her to explore a little. She had always been fascinated with two things: nature and the World of the Living. The chance to combine the two and see the nature in the World of the Living was an offer she couldn't refuse when she took this mission. Luck was on her side, only two Hollows and one Arrancar had show up in her three days of being here so far, giving her time to look around.
This is perfect! Nothing can spoil my day!
Kohana smiled to herself. She looked over at the bushy green leaves next to her. Gently, she twisted one off, put it to her lips and began to blow. A soft, yet sharp whistle rang throughout the park. In the distance, children lifted their head, wondering where the sound came from, but unable to find the source. Kohana had hid herself way up in the tree, behind the deep green foliage, since she was in her gigai, but did not want to be disturbed. She continued to play a gentle, pleasant melody to express her serenity. Suddenly, she stopped playing. The leaf fell from her fingers and slowly floated down to the ground. Kohana stood up on the branch and looked over at the town, realizing she had over looked the lack of Hollows.
All the other squads came back with the report of high amounts of Hollow, so why am I not? This is more than just dumb luck, someone is killing them for me.
Kohana immediately stepped out of her gigai and jumped out of the tree. Her body would be safe up in the tree, she had left it there before. Right now her thoughts were too busy wondering about who was killing all the Hollow to worry about her gigai.
"How could I have been so careless? I knew this was too good to be true!"
She spoke in her usual soft, whisper voice, but worry panged in every word. Who was killing the Hollows? Friend or foe? Those were the only two questions ringing in her mind. As if in responce, the heaven suddenly opened up and rain poured down on them like crashing waves. Kohana was soaked to the bone in seconds, she could hear the screaming of children and the urging voices of their parents trying to hurry them home to safty. She looke up at the sky, it was dark as night with all the clouds that had suddenly appeared. This was no ordinary storm...something, or someone had created it.
Could this be the person who is killing the Hollows
Her question was met with a reply of a burst of spiritual pressure that made her feel as if she was being weighed dow with one ton, and she was only on the outskirts of the city. No doubt it would be heavier the closer she got to the source. Seconds later a roar like no other echoed through Karakura Town. It was near the person letting off the spiritual pressure. She had to stop the Hollow, it was her duty as a Captain of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads. Kohana squinted through the down pour in the direction of the spiritual pressure. She was gone in a flash.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
How much farther?
Kohana thought miserably as the rain cut her face and arms. She had been running for ten minutes with the rain beating down on her. There seemed to be no end to this flood. Now not only did she have to stop the Hollow, but stop the person attempting to flood the town. With that in mind she continued on, even with the rain bluring her vision, she followed the trail of spiritual pressure.
Minutes passed before a huge, dark figure formed through the rain. The hollow was two buildings away. From what kohana could see, it was a big brute. She would need power to take this one down. Kohana reached at her side and wrapped her fingers around the hilt of her zanpaku-to. She gingerly lifted the light blade from the scabbared and pointe it at the cement top of the building.
"Become one with the land, Azarni!"
In a flash of earth green spiritual pressure, her zanpaku-to transformed into a dow and quiver of arrows in her hand. She slid the quiver on her back and positioned herself in range of the Hollow. Kohana whipped out an arrow and set it in the bow.
"Akemi-asuka"
She whispered and the arrow head began to secrete and thick yellow substance that not even the heavy rain could wash away. kohana fired her first shot. It missed. The Hollow, although it was huge, was faster than she thought and the rain was blurring her aim. Unfortunately directly behind the Hollow was a small figure sitting on a distant building. The arrow whizzed for him. Kohana blew her cover and ran after it, she caught it and broke it in half with her thumb and for finger directly in front of his face just before it hit him. She didn't know if her could see her but for his sake she whisperd over her shoulder as she took aim again.
"You may want to be more careful where you choose to sit or you'll get killed."
She reset her bow,
"Akemi-asuka chika!"
The arrow dripped poison and a vine grew out of the feathered end. She fired the one shot and hit the hollow in the head. The vine slanted down to the hollow. Seeing her advantage she cut the line and swung down to the hollows head. She aimed and shot another arrow a foot from the top of the skull under some bone plates. It died in a flash of black. She sighed and fell to the ground, landing on her feet. Rain still poured down, her eyes turned back to the lone figure a few buildings away.

The water started to fill the city streets. By now the people had left their cars and fled to higher ground. Their was no one left on any street. Ekai seemed to be completely alone. Ekai jumped to his feet his zanpactou in his hand. He slowly stepped to the edge of the building. The rain just poring down on him made him feel all the better. Hm this is so much better then before. Having the power to do what ever I want. I wonder how much longer it will be tell something comes I'm getting rather bored of flooding the city. Hopefully an arrancar or shinigami these mere hollows are just getting tiresome.
As he continued to watch a gorganta appeared in the sky. Ekai watched as an enormous hollow appeared before the building. Only a miserable hollow? Not even worth my time. Killing these things is more like work then fun. Ill let it have its fun Ekai just simply watched it have its way with the city. Suddenly Ekai could feel a large spiritual pressure heading his way at a tremendous speed. He watched closely as it sped his way completely ignoring the giant hollow.
Ekai watched as the shinigami attacked the hollow, wondering who would win. Either way it didn't matter to him entertainment is entertainment. Suddenly a arrow flew out from behind the hollow and headed right for Ekai. Without flinching he watched the arrow getting closer. Then right before it was about to hit him the shinigami broke it. He finally got a good look at her. Then in an instant she sped away and killed the hollow. Ekai looked down on her as she turned and faced him. Ekai began to clap loudly. Nice show shinigami a real nail bitter. A lot more entertainment then if I had killed it my self. But you should really watch your aim next time. You almost got me. Ekai jumped off his building heading closer to the shinigami.

((Ack, short...writer's block lately...))) Kohana looked up at the man coming toward her. He obviously was able to see her, seeing as he was now talking to her. She looked at him with her deep burgundy-brown eyes. He was tall, almost half a foot taller than herself, and like her he was soaked from head to toe. But what really peaked her interest was what was in his hand. He held a zanpaku-to.
He's not a shinigami... I wonder, he could be one of the few visoreds here in Karakura Town...
Keeping her eyes locked on him she stepped closer to where he was, slowly, cautiously. If he made any move to attack she could easily counter it, even if close range combat wasn't really her forte. She reached up to her face and whipped off the thin trails of blood that were dripping down into her eyes with the back of her hand. The rain was still coming down hard, flooding the streets and soaking the roof tops so they were as slick as grease...
...thud...
Kohana slipped. Her legs came right out from underneath her and she fell flat in the water on her knees. She yelped and rubbed the large bumps forming on each of her legs. She was soaked, in pain, bleeding, tired...
Damn, this day sucks...
She looked up at the man, her face burning strawberry red. Kohana giggled nervously,
"Oops...I'm such a klutz."
The words were soft and gentle like a summer breeze, they could hardly be heard over the rain thundering down. She slowly got back up, careful not to slip again. Kohana continued to gaze at the man,
"Who are you?"
She asked, tilting her head slightly. Kohana had never me a visored before, but she had read about them in the Hall of Archives. Most of them hated the Soul Society or disliked them at least. She wondered how he would react to seeing a captain-level shinigami. Would he attack? If he did, she was prepared. Her zanpaku-to, Azarni, was already in her shikai release state, bringing out her Bankai wouldn't be a problem if the worst was to happen. She wanted to avoid fighting him at all costs...

Ekai continued to walk closer and closer to Kohana. He was just able to see her through the thick rain. He saw the captains jacket. A large smile came to his face. Meeting a captain in Kakurakua town on such day. No matter if it ended in a fight or just a talk it should prove very interesting. A lot better then a day of flooding.
Ekai looked down so his eyes glowing golden eyes looked into her eyes. He tilted his head sideways slightly and looked at her strangely. Then suddenly a thought came to him. Wow aren't you a little short for a captain. Hmm have things really changed that much since i left it. Has it really been that long? He continued to look at her strangely. Then she slipped and fell. In an instant Ekai was to his knees laughing so hard tears came out. He continued to laugh until she got back to her feet.
You can sure say that again. You aren't a normal captain are you. Well your just ruined my mood to fight for the moment. Let me turn down this rain some. Ekai's left hand slipped down and gripped his zanpactou in that very instant the rain calmed down to nothing but a light drizzle. Even some clouds going away. Ekai shook his head rapidly like a dog tell his hair was dry. He walked closer and closer to her tell he was only just 3 feet away from her. I am the great Ekai. He takes a bow and looks back into her eyes. His left hand still on his zanpatou.

Kohana's blush deepened and she narrowed her eyes. she hated it when peopled laughed at her, or anyone for that matter. So what if she was a little different? Even if she was just a young girl on captain's level in the Soul Society, it was no reason to laugh at her.
Wow, what a gentleman. He could have at least offered me a hand...
She rolled her eyes up at the pouring sky and looked back at him. He was close to her now, very close. Kohana inched back a little. If he was going to fight her she wanted to be at a proper distance so she could use her zanpaku-to effectively. She tried not to make eye contact too much, she wasn't very good talking to strangers. Suddenly, she looked up. The rain was slowing down into a drizzle now. Her eyes flashed back down to his. Kohana was surprised for a few moments. She blinked a few times. His eyes...they glowed. How she had never noticed this before was beyond her, the sight was unnerving.
Just who is this guy?!
Ekai. His name was Ekai. No correction, his name was "The great Ekai" If it wasn't for her usual quiet demeanor, Kohana would have burst out laughing. Instead she suppressed a couple of giggles, covering her mouth with her hand.
"Not very modest are you?"
She said softly. Her eyes were still locked on his. It was if she couldn't move, their gaze was so intense. Why did they glow? The thought echoed in her mind. It was quite clear this guy was not your average shinigami. In fact, he wasn't an official one at all. He lacked the black kimono. He was still dressed in black, but they were normal human clothes.
He has to be a visored...
She thought as she looked at him closely, her grip on her bow tightened. Visored were know for their strength and immense spiritual pressure, due to their Hollow half. If he whipped that out on her all of a sudden, things wouldn't look good.
A visored who can control the weather - or at least rain - sitting in the middle of Karakura Town, flooding the city, with extremely bad manners and lacks modesty. And here I was thinking my day couldn't get any stranger...
Kohana covered her face from the rain that he shook of his head, like a dog.
Strike that, absolutely no manners whatsoever.
She furrowed her brow and narrowed her eyes at him. Kohana had little patience for those with unruly behavior.
"You must be one of the visoreds, am I correct?"
Her voice was still very soft, if she could have gone louder she would have. Although, due to an illness she encountered back in the Rukongai her vocal chords were permanently damaged. she sighed, frustrated, and tossed her wet hair back from her shoulders. She placed her open left hand on her hip. Kohana knew she didn't look very menacing, but everyone knows that in battle the best element, is the element of surprise!

Ekai continued to watch Kohana very closely. Watching for any movement that would warn him of an attack. Yet just her being a little girl made him feel at ease. He watched her inch back some. Ekai's smile only got bigger. It seemed that he made her nervous. That amused him so much. Then she finally looked into his eyes. The look on her face was very familiar to him.
Its the eyes isn't it. I get a strange look from just about everyone. Its like they have never seen someone's eyes glow before. He continued to move closer and closer to her. Well I have never been good at modesty or manors never saw the point. I wouldn't want to deceive you and let you think I'm just some average shinigami. Ekai watched her hand grip around the bow tighter and unsheathed his zanpatou some. He knew better then to underestimate a captain even if it was a little girl. Then he heard her say the word visored.
Oh so you know what I am. Then after a second of looking at Kohana try to be menacing Ekai just burst out laughing. He continued to laugh tell tears came out. You should really not try to be intimidating. It doesn't suit you very well. The real question is what are you going to do about me. Hmm captain? With this Ekai unsheathes his zanpatou and stabs it into the ground. The blade standing as tall as him.
occ sorry it is short I think I cought your writers block.

Well so much for intimidating...
Kohana thought as she watched Ekai laugh so hard that tears came out of his eyes. She knew there was little chance of it working. Please, the guy was half a foot taller than herself, with glowing eyes, and a hell of a zanpaku-to. She was short, skinny, and all she had was a bow and a quiver of arrows. What was there to be afraid of? If anything, he was quite intimidating, glowing eyes were not a common sight really. Kohana held her ground, she wasn't going to let this guy scare her. She was a captain, and as one she should always set an example, even when her squad wasn't around.
"Hmmm, well I don't like to go picking fights with random visoreds, even if you did almost flood the city. How about you promise you'll never do it again and we call it even?"
Kohana had always been a lover, not a fighter. In fact she avoided battles at all costs. It wasn't like she couldn't take this guy out right now (but she also knew never to underestimate your opponent), she was a captain after all, she just didn't feel like it. Plus he hadn't really provoked her to attack yet. If he did, she would defend herself.
Kohana absentmindedly twisted the water out of her hair with her free hand, but kept a close eye on him. Every step he took, she took one back. She wanted to keep at least five feet in between them, allowing herself room to dodge if necessary. A sigh escaped her lips. It was turning into a long, wet day...
Can't I have just one day to rest? First Hollows, then an Arrancar, and now a visored? What is the world coming to? Is it so much to ask for one day to myself?!
The sigh turned exasperated. Her eyes flashed down to Azarni, and in a swirl of earth green spiritual energy, she transformed back to her usual brown and green sword form. The last thing she wanted was more blood on her hands, but just in case she kept her sword at her side, unsheathed.
OOC: Okay, writer's block is officially contageous...ugh!

Ekai watched Kohana reaction. He was really hoping she would try to attack him. A fight with a captain sounded amazing right now. Yet she just takes all the fun out of it. She is little not intimidating at all, she is quite funny on purpose or not, and her zanpatou is only a little bow. She seemed quite strong but not amazingly. Of all things he would probably feel worse if he killed her. Yet a captain is a captain and teaching soul society a lesson would be a good way to finish the day.
Then she said it. Promise to never do it again and call it even. Once again Ekai started to burst out laughing again for the third time today. He had never laughed so much in his entire life. Today had to be the funniest day of his life. Who would think it all came from a captain.
Ekai eventually stopped laughing shook his head and tried to look more serious. He pulled his sword out of the ground and held it. You know captain you really crack me up. This had to be the funniest day I have had in quite a few years. But you take out all the fun out of meeting a captain. I almost don't even want to fight you almost. But Ill flood the city whenever I feel like it and I would like to see anyone try to stop me. He places the blade on his shoulder as he continues to approach her.
Ekai continues to watch her every move looking for either a opening or attack. He hears her sigh and transform her zanpakuto back to its unreleased form. What is she tiered that's not any fun at all. She wont even be nice to talk to. How disappointing.
Ekai brought his blade down letting it drag on the ground as he walked. His smile looking more menacing. Then in an instant he flash stepped behind Kohana swinging his blade down trying to hit her on her left shoulder. He held back a lot of power and speed not trying to actually hurt her just get her on her toes and see in just what sort of shape she might be in.
ooc: OMG it sure is. I may just have to much on my mind for right now. Well sorry this is the best I can do for right now.
