Being the head of a powerful noble clan, Tsukino is an examplary warrior and someone believed to be on par with the greatest captains of soul society. She is strong enough to be in the Royal guard and was givin an invitation, but she refused it in order to lead her clan. She is the only soul reaper in history to weild two Zanpakuto, her own, and one that was owned by her late husband. She can only use the Shikai of her husbands Zanpakuto although she has Bankai with her own. In battle, Tsukino has two distinct styles of swordplay. The first, is a ninja type style utilizing her own Zanpakuto which takes the form of a small hidden Kodachi in the handle of her umbrella. She fights with mastery of Shunpo and quick slices. The second style she uses is used with her late husbands Zanpakuto which takes the form of a Nodachi. She uses modified Kendo to attack with strong cuts. Tsukino is also a master of Kido, although she is only decent in hand to hand combat.

Tsukino is the only Soul reaper to have two Zanpakuto's. One of her late husband and one that belongs to herself. The first Zanpakuto listed is her own, and the second her husbands.
Zanpakuto: Midori Ryuu (Green Dragon)
Sealed state: In it's sealed state, Midori Ryuu takes the form of a small Kodachi. It is special because the blade is hidden within the handle of a decorative umbrella. The blade itself, has a dragon design on it.
Shikai release call: "Leaves falling like snow, come forth and dance beautifuly"
Shikai appearence: In it's Shikai state, Midori Ryuu takes the form of a very intricitly designed Naginata. The handle is very long, easy to weild with two hands. The handle is bitch black with a grip on two spots for both hands, the grip is similar to the blade of a katana, black wrapping with green diamonds between the wrapping. The rest of the handle, has a green chinese dragon design on it. There is a long tassle attached to the end of the hilt that is red. The blade itself comes out of a dragons head decoration at the top of the staff, the head resembles a chinese dragon with it's mouth open and the blade extending from it's mouth. The blade itself resembles a curved Katana blade. Near the blunt edge of the blade at the top, are holes down the length that have small rings in them, the blade itself is curved and has a serrated edge.
Shikai abilities: In it's Shikai state, Midori Ryuu has the power to control wind and air pressure. By swinging the blade, Tsukino can create wind blades that can pierce through anything if she puts enough spiritual pressure into her attack. She is also capable of creating wind barriers to block attacks and tornados. She has the ability also to create friction in the air, allowing her to control lightning to an extent. She can create lightning in the form of an aura blade around the actual blade of Midori Ryuu, causing cuts made by the blade to induce paralysis. She cannot however, fire the lightning off the blade.
Bankai name: Yuuga Odorimasu Midori Ryuu (Elegant Dancing Green Dragon)
Bankai appearence: In Bankai state, Yuuga Odorimasu Midori Ryuu takes the form of armor on Tsukino's body. She grows a small chestplate to hold her breasts and cover her stomach, as well as a long white skirt from that. She gains dragon scale boots ending with clawed toes. The boots extend down from her knees. She also gains dragon scale armor on her hands and arms, extending down from her eblows and ending in claws. She gains a dragon tooth necklace around her neck and dragon tooth earrings. She gains two large draconion wings that are capable of flight. She gains a very long dragonion tail as well.
Bankai abilites: When in Bankai state, Tsukino's wind controlling abilites enhance greatly to the point where she can control weather. She is able to make rain and thunderstorms, as well as direct lightning bolts. She has enhanced speed and can use her wings to block attacks. She also retains a clone of her Shikai as a weapon in this state.

Midori Ryuu is a very laid back spirit. He sees everything in life as a flow, and finds it a sin to disrupt that flow. He believes that people flow as well, and that they flow with eachother but should never flow against eachother. He enjoys moments of peace and loves to just spend his days laying about. He doesn't mind having to work however and will always grant Tsukino his power if she needs it.
Inner world: Tsukino's inner world is a small planet in the middle of an endless sky. The planet is more like a floating island and a paradise in every sense of the world. There is a temple in a spring in the middle, where Ao Ryuu resides.

Shikai abilites: Sekijuuji Taigaa has the ability to control it's cutting power. It can create an aura blade around it made of Tsukino's spiritual pressure, effectively creating a type of beam saber around the blade. The aura is a deep crimson in color and it's strength depends on the amount of energy Tsukino puts into it.

Sekijuuji Taigaa is like an honorable old samurai. He believes that battle is the way to glory and that warriors should fight with honor, without cheating or using cheap tactics. Because of this, he detests it when Tsukino uses her Ninja style art using her umbrella blade and prefers it when she fights with him. Despite not being her Zanpakuto, out of respect for the dying wishes of his former master, he agrees to lend Tsukino his power if she asks for it, although he will not submit to her fully, preventing her from using her late husbands Bankai.

Tsukino is a very calm and elegant lady. She personifies beauty, and isn't shy about her own beauty but also isn't narcissitic. She does however, have a high opionion about her looks. She makes it a point to always act with a civilized and aristocratic air. She is always calm and collected, speaking in a calm yet authoritive manner to others. Despite appearing cold at first, she does care for others, especially members of her family and clan. She cannot stand traitors and will speak out against treason if she sees it. She is loyal to her family and her friends, and can often take a personal interest in others outside her family such as Harugin. She is always thinking of the Himura clan and furthering her clan's ideals and livelihood. It was through her hard work that the clan became one of the four great noble families. She can be at times a little eccentric however with the way she talks and acts. She is a lover of Saki and a fun time, although it can be easy to offend her during that fun. She is known to be able to hold her saki, and even drunk retains her air of sophistication. She is also a love of the arts, such as the tea ceremony, music and peotry. She also has an eye for Fashion and often notices what someone is wearing before anything else.

Tsukino's exstensive history isn't well known, even to those close to her. Her life in the living world is mostly shrouded in mystery, as she will only discuss her life as it started in soul society. When she died, she took to Soul Societies upper Rokungai and quickly become a prominent figure. Her soul reaper powers devolped quickly, and because of it, she had managed to conjure her Zanpakuto early. She used her power to begin building a "Family" of people from the Rokungai. She set up a sanctuary known as Himura (Scarlet village) Where there was no killing and everyone could make a living in peace. She used her exstensive power in order to keep things in order, although a police force was eventually established in order to keep the peace. Soon after this, she met Karasu Oda, the love of her life and a soul reaper in training. The two fell quickly in love and Tsukino left Himura in command of her second and left to master her powers with her love. She quickly graduated from the academy, and stayed within soul society, rising quickly through the ranks with her love to become captain of the Kido corps, Kido being her speciality. During her years in service, her now husband became a captain, and she also took notice of a young prodigy by the name of Harugin Akegata. Tsukino took a job teaching Kendo and Kido at the soul reaper academy in order to get closer to him and to suit her interest in him. During this time however, tragedy struck as her husband was killed by a rouge and very powerful hollow. Tsukino rushed off to fight the creature with a young Harugin following her. Her husband lay fatally injured and before dying, handed her his Zanpakuto saying "Please.. help her bring peace." Tsukino then took his Zanpakuto and released her Bankai, killing the immensly powerful hollow that had killed her lover. It was at this time. During the battle, the creature attacked Harugin who had followed and nearly killed him, until a conversation with his spirit resulted in Harugin learning Bankai. Together, Tsukino and Harugin defeated the hollow. Harugin returned to school and Tsukino retired from teaching, as well as being captain of the Kido corps. She decided to return home to Himura, and focus on building the village. When she got back however, she learned that her second had become corrupted and was a tyrannical leader. Tsukino quickly confronted her, fighting off curropted soldiers before reaching the man she put in charge and defeating him. She banished him from Himura and set things right again, with that, the Himura clan began it's decent into one of the four great noble houses.
