Dan is a very bubbly man, wearing a grin most of the time. He is always full of energy, often acting childish when he's hyper. He is a bit ditzy at times, and even spacey and silly, but he's always forgiven. When in the face of danger, however; he does get serious. This little trap mastermind can't quite keep his cool in a battle, but if he stays behind the scenes he's all good.
He's a very devoted man. In his relationships he always takes the submissive role. As is hinted by the location of his chain of life, he's just naturally submissive. He finds it hard to be in any sort of leadership role. He's just too irresponsible and not naturally geared to the leader's mindset. Rather, he takes the role of devoting himself to those he deems worthy; often leaders and lovers. This nature of his sometimes leads him to be used by some, which makes him more and more careful.
History:
Dan was born and raised in the soul society. As an Otherkin, he faced much discrimination from those around him, which spawned a hatred and distrust of soul reapers inside of him. He hated the fact he live among these evil, self-centered beings so much that he left for the human world as soon as he turned nineteen.
When he came to the human world, he found himself in Hokkaido. He spent the next thirty years traveling and having fun. He met Otherkin tribes along the way and stayed with them for a year or too, often having much fun. During one of his stays, a female Otherkin unknowingly became a mother when she accidentally conceived his child before he left. He never knew he was a father, but perhaps the time will come.
The last tribe he stayed with was the Sacred Hearts tribe. He couldn't ever bring himself to leave and eventually became one of them. Dan felt at home with the Sacred Hearts tribe, and they took him in like one of their own.
